Plug ‘n’ Play Music Academy was founded in 2018, right in the heart of Toronto, with one clear mission — to bring the joy of music to students in our community and help them grow through it.
It all began with a deep passion for music, but even more than that, a love for teaching and mentoring kids. We saw music as more than just an art — it’s a powerful tool that can inspire confidence, discipline, creativity, and lifelong joy.
Since day one, our goal has been simple: To help children discover their potential and achieve their dreams — with music as the guide.
Hi, I’m Tharnan Yogendranathan, the founder of Plug ‘n’ Play Music Academy. My passion for music and teaching led me to create a space where students can explore their potential and develop a lifelong love for music.
With over 7 years of experience at Dacapo Institute of Aesthetic Studies (Sri Lanka) under the mentorship of Mr. L B Anton Dias, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from various backgrounds, guiding them as they grow, perform, and excel in their musical journeys.
Since 2017, I’ve been dedicated to educating the youth in the heart of Toronto, with a focus on helping students achieve their musical goals.
